Bar Association for Local Government & the Public Service
The Association seeks to serve and protect the best interests of all barristers employed in local government and the public service. The Association is a direct successor of the Society of Local Government Barristers (which was established around 1945) and the Bar Association for Local Government.
Membership (currently about 100 members) is open to all barristers and bar students employed in the public sector (including those in the Civil Service and in the Armed Forces). The current subscription levels are:
Full - £12 per annum
Associate / Retired - £6 per annum.
