CFAs for Employment Tribunal Cases
The Employment Law Bar Association do not recommend undertaking employment tribunal cases on a Conditional Fee Agreement basis. Nevertheless, it is a matter of individual choice and some barristers choose to do this work on a CFA. The Bar Council's CFA Panel have therefore decided to make available on the Bar Council website a standard form CFA for use in employment tribunal cases for barristers to use if they so wish. The standard form was written by John Foy QC for use in 9 Gough Square. He has kindly allowed us to make it more widely available.” The form and standard Terms and Conditions can be found below.
