Confiscation in Graduated Cases: Fees
The Criminal Defence Service (Funding) (Amendment No. 2) order 2009 introduced new legal aid fees for advocacy in confiscation hearings concluded on or after 21 August 2009 where there are more than 50 pages of evidence.
The Guidance Notes are to be used for claiming payment in confiscation cases.
Appendix A of the Guidance is the Criminal Defence Service (Funding) (Amendment No.2) Order 2009.
Appendix B of the Guidance is the letter that was sent to all Heads of Chambers on the 4th August 2009 explaining the changes.
