Request an interview

The Bar Council officers and senior staff are available for interview upon request through the Bar Council Press Office. Requests for interviews with representatives of the Circuits, Specialist Bar Associations and Bar Council committees, as well as with practitioners from a range of fields, are also fielded by the Press Office.

It would be helpful if you could provide answers to as many of the following questions as possible when submitting your request:

• Your name and contact details
• The media outlet you represent
• The subject of the interview
• The type of questions you wish to ask and the angle of the interview
• Who you want to interview
• When and where you want the interview to take place, and
• How the interview will be conducted (e.g. live, pre-record, ISDN, phone).

Please note that neither the Bar Council nor individual barristers are able to comment on specific cases. Enquiries regarding regulatory matters should be referred to the Bar Standards Board press office.
