Chairman of the Bar urges CBA members to vote in key ballot

13 July 2015

Chairman of the Bar, Alistair MacDonald QC, is urging all those eligable to vote in the Criminal Bar Association's (CBA) ballot.

He said: "As all members of the CBA will know, the ballot on whether the Criminal Bar should take direct action will close at 16.00 on Tuesday 14th July 2015.  You will find the ballot at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CBABallot2015

"You can vote very simply on line and it only takes a very short time.

"The answer to the question posed may have significant consequences for the future of the Bar and it is therefore vitally important that all barristers who are eligible to vote in this ballot do so."
