Bar members are eligible for discounts on a range of services.
All bookings are to be made through the Fleet Street branch.
The clinic is open every business day 8am to 6pm, as we understand the sooner you’re treated, the sooner you’ll feel better.
Our established GPs have strong links with a wide range of specialists, enabling faster access to Consultants and for investigations. We are registered with The Healthcare Commission and all GenMed doctors are MRCGP.
-
What if I’m already registered with a GP? We aim to complement the role of your family doctor. If you wish, we can send copies of results or investigations to your NHS GP
-
What if I need a prescription? Our GPs can write a private script and you can purchase most medications at our centres, or take the script to any pharmacy
-
Do I need to see a GP or Nurse? Our practice nurses can help you in many ways, such as taking bloods, changing dressings and ear syringing. If you’re unsure, please ask when booking
-
I’m travelling overseas, what should I do? Make an appointment for a MASTA travel consultation. This web enabled clinic provides the latest international health updates and will ensure you are suitably informed and protected. Travel vaccinations and medications can be purchased at the consultation
-
I have Private Medical Insurance, will this affect my premiums? No, visiting us for private primary care (GP) will not adversely impact your insurance. P.M.I. covers costs for secondary care, such as hospital stays and specialist Consultants. Our GPs can refer to your Insurers approved specialists, where appropriate
-
What other services are available? Fleet Street Medical Centre also offers comprehensive well-person health checks, physiotherapy and a range of weekly specialist clinics in dermatology, gynaecology and counselling. A private dentist practice is also available. We aim to offer integrated care and informed patient choice
