Access to Justice in the Commercial Court

Join COMBAR for an interactive roundtable discussion of issues including whether the Commercial Court pilot of procedural reforms, in accordance with the recommendations of the Commercial Court Long Trials Working Party, will improve access to justice; whether arbitration is a more cost effective and efficient route to justice than the Commercial Court; whether contingency fees should be introduced in Commercial Court litigation to enable a party to bring a case which otherwise would not be possible due to lack of resources; and facilitating access to justice and equality of arms for individuals lacking personal resources to fund Commercial Court litigation.
