NYSBA International Law and Practice Section Fall Meeting

17 September 2008

“Globalization: Harmonization of Laws, Is it Real?”

Stockholm, Sweden

September 17-20, 2008

The New York State Bar Association's 2008 International Law and Practice Section's Seasonal Meeting takes place in Stockholm on September 17-20. There will be over 25 panels in three tracks - Corporate, Litigation/Arbitration and General. The plenary sessions, luncheons and dinners will feature ambassadors, government and industry representatives, and other distinguished speakers.

The extensive social program starts with a welcome reception at Stockholm City Hall and includes hospitality dinners hosted by local law firms, dinner at the Skansen Open Air Museum and a gala dinner at the Vasa Museum. There are a number of sightseeing tours planned for spouses and delegates, as well as a pre-conference tour of Tallinn and Helsinki.

This is an excellent opportunity to meet distinguished lawyers from not only Sweden and the Scandinavian and Baltic region but from all over the globe, and to visit Stockholm in the beautiful early fall season.
