Recent landmark events impacting on the profession and the wider communities will raise profoundly important issues for Conference to discuss.

We will draw together in an opening plenary session leaders of the profession and those engaged at the forefront of the debate.

Workshops scheduled for the Conference include:

  • A topical and insightful session examining strategies for dealing with Human Rights 60 years after the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
  • A multi-dimensional but practical investigation of diversity issues that arise in connection with Judicial Appointments with JAC representatives present to deal directly with the issues YOU want to raise.
  • A session exploring cross cultural legal issues;

  • And, importantly, a unique ‘have your say’ session in which you will be able to express your views and voice your concerns on issues central to the debate about diversity.

Conference will conclude with a Champagne reception sponsored by Reedsmith which will provide a further opportunity for all to network and to discuss issues on a one to one basis.
