Meeting of All Party Parliamentary Group: 6 July

The next meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Legal and Constitutional Affairs will take place on 6th July. It will begin at 5pm in Committee Room Three, Committee Room Corridor, House of Lords.
The meeting will be looking at recent developments in legal aid, and asking whether there is a future for the publicly-funded practitioner. In what promises to be a lively session, the speakers will be The Lord Bach, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of Justice, Paul Marsh, President of the Law Society and Desmond Browne QC, Chairman of the Bar. The meeting will be chaired by Lord Brennan QC.
