Frank Winslett have been in the legal profession all his working life, and was admitted as a solicitor in 1984. He was granted higher court rights in crime in 1995, and was called to the Bar in 2004. He sits as a Deputy District Judge (since 1991), and also has a private law (Section 8) ticket.

Frank Winslett was a pupil supervisor while practising at the Bar, and was also approved by the BSB to train members of Chambers in Direct Access. He gave assistance and encouragement to many of the junior members of Chambers, and will attempt to continue to do so through this scheme. Having sat as DDJ for many years, he feels that he can assist using his experiences to assist any member of the Bar that aspires to a part time or full time position on the bench.
