Andrew Walker QC was called to the Bar in 1991, and took silk in 2011. Andrew has a Chancery practice at Maitland Chambers, and has been an active member of the Bar Council since 2005. He has a keen interest in mentoring, and as well as being a mentor under the Bar Council and Chancery Bar Association schemes, he has been a sponsor for Lincoln's Inn for very many years, a role which now extends regularly to providing informal advice to students on career decisions, interviews, CVs and application forms.

In addition, as Chairman of the Bar Council's Ethics Committee, Andrew is involved in overseeing and assisting with ethical queries from barristers through the Bar Council's Ethical Enquiries Service.  Andrew hopes that his understanding of the system and its demands could assist potential mentees with the application process.
