Fergus Randolph QC hopes to support anyone considering an application for silk through discussion, sitting in and advising as appropriate on any proposed application.

Randolph QC has been in practice since 1985, and spent the first 15 years of practice in Brussels. His practice is wide-ranging, covering all aspects of EU and competition law. He has appeared in all levels of courts, both domestically and in the ED framework.

He has mentored Middle Temple students in relation to pupillage and tenancy prospects in the past, and took part in seminars organised by the Bar Council on ED job opportunities for barristers.

Applying for silk is a major undertaking in terms of costs, time and emotion. He would have welcomed a mentoring scheme when he applied, and is keen to assist future applicants on this important career challenge.
