Brexit: What next for the Bar?

Date: 15 May 2017

Time: 17:30 - 19:00

Bar Council 289-293 High Holborn London WC1V 7HZ

This event is for practising barristers to meet with members of the Bar Council Brexit Working Group to discuss concerns and aspirations over Brexit and to help shape the Bar's ongoing work to inform and advise politicians and policy makers on the legal issues and challenges, as well as the opportunities, of exiting the EU.

Members of the Group will give short presentations on the most important policy areas including the enforcement of judgments, options for immigration policy, the future of civil justice cooperation and the implications for professional services.

Plenty of time will be set aside for a lively Q&A to discuss the issues and questions that trouble and excite you the most and those you think the Brexit Working Group should address.

RSVP: Please contact Luke Robins-Grace (lrobins-grace@barcouncil.org.uk) if you would like to attend and for further information.
