The Bar Council has been made aware of a phone scam which involves phone calls to barristers from individuals claiming to be from HMRC regarding tax issues and arrest warrants.
The Bar Council can confirm that these calls are not from HMRC and barristers should ignore any instructions given by the caller and hang up. Do not call back.
