Mediation Directory
Mediation is a growing field, and more barristers are
undertaking the training to resolve disputes in this manner every
year. Members of the Bar may be best known for their adversarial
skills, but they are also skilled in rapidly assimilating
information, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of each case,
negotiating and providing written and verbal advice.
The barristers who appear in the Mediation Directory have all
completed training with an official provider. The course must be at
least 40 hours in length and include role playing and teaching in
mediation procedure and ethics.

If you are a barrister and would like to appear in the
Directory, please download and complete
the Mediator's Training and Experience Form.
Only barristers who currently hold a Practising Certificate
are eligible for inclusion in the Directory.
