Help shape how we represent and support you
The results from the survey help shape and prioritise our work in representing and supporting you.
We can compare results with previous surveys to identify the changing nature of the profession. We can then make evidence-based, data-driven submissions and representations to government and other decision-makers.
Using data from what you told us in the 2023 survey:
- We commissioned the independent review of bullying and harassment at the Bar chaired by Baroness Harman KC
- We successfully called for greater consistency in the use of remote hearings through our report ‘A lens on justice: the move to remote justice’
- We updated our earnings monitoring toolkit and practice review guide for barristers and clerks
- Our international committee is refreshing its strategy for promoting the Bar or England and Wales in priority jurisdictions
