'How to become a barrister' (career days)

The Bar Council organises annual career days aimed at Year 12 students who are interested in learning about studying law at university and a career at the Bar.  These events are aimed at students from state schools and colleges.

Students must be:

  • Interested in studying law at university, or a career in law

  • Attending a state school or college, and

  • In Year 12, but will consider otheryears if there is space.

We hold Career Days in Birmingham, ,Manchester, Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool and London.
