The Chambers' Ambassador (formerly known as the Ambassadors' Scheme) is being renovated to create a network of chambers representatives. These representatives will receive a minimum of three communications a year informing them of current 'hot topics' at the Bar Council. Topics previously sent to the Chambers Ambassadors include updates on flexible court operating hours pilot and the Bar Council's call for the Lord Chancellor to defend the judiciary in 2016.
Three meetings will be held each year giving the representatives a chance to not only raise matters directly with the Bar Council, but to network and build working relationships with each other. This will create two-way relationship seeking thoughts, views and feedback from the representatives and members of their chambers with the aim of answering the big question: What does the Bar Council do for me?
The following chambers are currently represented on the scheme:
St. Mary's Chambers
Jason Elliot Barristers
4 Paper Buildings
