The candidates who are standing in the election for the 2019 Bar Council have been announced. Ballot papers are being issued by the Bar Council and must be returned to arrive at the Bar Council Offices on Friday 19 October 2018. Candidate statements can be read here

The election will be conducted by single transferable vote and the results of the elections will be announced by listing successful candidates in the order of voter preference. 

For the first time, you may vote in any category regardless of whether you are a self-employed barrister, employed barrister or dual practitioner.
