The latest figures from Bar Mutual show that barristers' earnings in 2018 from clients based overseas has continued to increase.
In 2018, 1,937 barristers in England and Wales had clients based overseas generating total earnings of £326,777,917. There was an increase in both the number of barristers with overseas clients (1,791) and earnings from work relating to overseas clients compared to 2017 (£322,484,133).
