Our members have established practices in traditional and commercial chancery work. Members particularly specialise in commercial litigation, company, construction, property, estates and sports law. Chambers provides full circle legal services on both contentious and non-contentious matters to businesses, professionals and high net worth individuals.
Upon achieving tenancy, members have the opportunity to develop their practice flexibly and also have the benefit of the support of the administrative team in chambers who receive a number of enquiries from Public/Direct Access clients in our practice areas.
While our experienced members typically handle high value claims, chambers has recently begun to receive a steady volume of small to medium value claims in credit hire and personal injury cases. To assist with our increasing case load and organic growth we now accepting applications for our third-six pupillage vacancy. These cases will primarily be directed to the third six pupil, offering a valuable opportunity to build advocacy experience and develop a broad practice.
About the candidate:
Chambers welcomes applications for probationary tenancy from pupils who have completed pupillage at a civil and/or commercial set. The suitable candidate may be based in chambers in Gray's Inn Square, or at home, and will be given the opportunity to travel to hearings in all six geographical circuits that make up the Bar of England and Wales.
Chambers has also recently begun to receive instructions in credit hire and personal injury cases and welcomes applications from candidates looking to specialise in this practice area.
During the probationary period, you can expect to be undertaking written work, attend hearings, and take on appropriate instructions under the guidance of your mentor and our clerking team.
