About the candidate:
Chambers invites applications from those who have completed pupillage and aim to establish themselves in independent criminal practice in Kent and on the surrounding South Eastern Circuit.
The successful applicant will join our busy Criminal Team which prosecutes and defends across all levels and is highly regarded for its standards of advocacy and professional service.
The successful applicant can expect a significant volume of work and will appear predominantly before the criminal courts in Kent. They will be mentored by a senior member of the Team.
The placement will be for six months. An application can be made for full tenancy at its conclusion. Any application will be assessed by Chambers against its recruitment criteria and is dependent on ability and performance during the probationary period. There will be no guaranteed earnings scheme or award, but the successful applicant can expect to achieve a sound fee income.
