About the webinar

In June 2024 the Bar Council commissioned Baroness Harriet Harman KC to lead an independent review of bullying, harassment and sexual harassment at the Bar.

Over the past year, Baroness Harman has taken evidence from across the Bar and visited each circuit to gain insight into the reasons for inappropriate behaviours, the impact they have and the barriers to improvement, as well as developing a set of recommendations for change.

Baroness Harman’s report is due to be published in early September and in this webinar she will talk through her findings and recommendations. Chair of the Bar Barbara Mills KC will host the event and field your questions to Baroness Harman and the Bar Council about the review, the report and what’s next.

Who should attend

Barristers, pupils, chambers professionals and all those working in and around the Bar are welcome to attend.
