The Pupillage Fair is open from 10am to 3pm and you can meet chambers and organisations in our exhibition throughout the day. Find out who will be attending on our exhibitor page

During the day, we also run a CV and applications clinic and an in-person seminar programme. Find out more below.

CV and application clinic

10.15am to 3pm

Looking for some advice on your CV or application form? Have a 10-minute one-to-one appointment with a practising barrister for feedback and tips.

Please bring along a hard copy of your CV or application form, there are no printing facilities at the venue.

Appointments are not bookable, we operate a virtual queuing system on the day.

Seminar programme

These sessions are free to join on the day once you have your Pupillage Fair ticket, there is no need to book these sessions in advance.

11am to 11.45am: work experience and opportunities for prospective barristers

Hear from representatives from the Inns of Court who will outline work experience opportunities and support schemes that you may be able to access. Ask questions to practising barristers who were successful in obtaining scholarships and other support schemes.

We organise this session in partnership with the Inns of Court – Lincoln’s Inn, Inner Temple, Middle Temple and Gray’s Inn.

12.30pm to 1.15pm and 2pm to 2.45pm: CV building, pupillage and how to get it

Hear from heads of pupillage, pupillage committee members and recent pupils about what a successful application looks like and what to expect from your pupillage interviews.

This session will be held twice: once at 12.30pm and another at 2pm.
