Career Event for Mature Students and Career Changers

Date: 16 March 2016

Time: 17:30 - 19:30

The General Council of the Bar 289-293 High Holborn London WC1V 7HZ

This event is aimed at Mature Students and Career Changers who have an interest in pursuing a career as a Barrister.

The event will offer guidance on the vocational stages of training as well as tips about work experience and pro-bono opportunities. The event is intended to help mature students and career changers in their applications for pupillage.

As a profession, the Bar values excellence and the ability to show success in other disciplines can be a very good way of evidencing this. Individuals who are well-rounded and have life experience outside of the law have statistically done very well in applications for pupillage.

The speakers will include barristers and BPTC lecturers. Representatives from the Bar Council will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have.

This event is free to attend.
