A day at the Bar for Ukrainian lawyers

The ‘Day at the Bar for Ukrainian lawyers’ scheme is intended for Ukrainian lawyers who wish to learn about the operation of the legal system in England and Wales from a practical perspective. This scheme would be useful if you have an interest in working in the legal sector in England and Wales. Applicants will spend one day shadowing a barrister volunteer either in court or at their practice in London or across England and Wales.

We welcome barrister volunteers based throughout England and Wales. After registering and being successfully matched, barrister volunteers will be provided with the contact details of a Ukrainian lawyer to contact to arrange a shadow day, either in court, in their practice, or their organisation.
