The welcome drinks reception will take place on Friday 7 June on the Barbican Conservatory Terrace at the Barbican Centre.

Travelling to the conference

On arrival at 155 Bishopsgate, take the escalator on your left up to the first floor. At the top of the escalator turn right and enter the gold double doors into the 1st floor reception. Please contact the venue if you'd like to speak about step free access.

By train

The closest rail station is London Liverpool Street. If you are walking to the venue from the station, take way out 1 (Bishopsgate West) located next to platform 14. Turn left and follow Bishopsgate past the entrance to 135 Bishopsgate. Turn left up the external arcade stairs to 155 Bishopsgate, where the conference will be held.

By Underground

Liverpool Street station is served by the Central, Circle, Elizabeth, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines. For exits from all underground lines, follow the signs for Liverpool Street mainline station.

By London Cycle Scheme

There are many Santander Cycles docking stations within minutes of Liverpool Street station, including on Bishopsgate.

By Bus

155 Bishopsgate is served by many bus routes including 388, 242, 149, 135, 78, 48, 47, 42, 35, 26 and 8.

Parking

There is an NCP car park at Finsbury Square (EC2A 1AD). Please remember the venue sits within the congestion charge zone – for further information visit Transport for London.

Childcare Services

To ensure this is an event for the whole Bar, we're partnering with CocoRio to provide on-site creative childcare services .

CocoRio creative childcare services will be provided on Saturday 8 June for the duration of the event (09:30-17:30) at Convene, 155 Bishopsgate, London.
This service is provided free of charge to delegates.
A 20% discount is on offer for private creative childcare services and private evening babysitting services to all Bar Conference delegates for both the drinks reception on Friday 7 June 2024 and the Conference on Saturday 8 June 2024.
This service is for children under the age of 12.
