Martyn Barmby, Founder of MSB Executive

Martyn Barmby is the founder of MSB Executive, a specialist communication skills consultancy established in 2009. He is passionate about helping people communicate with confidence and impact, so they can achieve the success they deserve.

Before launching MSB Executive, Martyn led complex change programmes across Europe and the US - roles that demanded exceptional communication and diplomacy. He later followed his passion for acting, training at the renowned East 15 Acting School, and built a successful career in theatre, film, and television.

Martyn began sharing the powerful techniques he learned as an actor with professionals in business. He had seen too many talented individuals and companies lose out to less capable competitors simply because their communication let them down. MSB Executive bridges this gap by making performance-based communication techniques practical and relevant for the business world.

Today, Martyn leads a talented team of 10 consultants working globally, with deep expertise in financial services, legal and technology sectors. He leads the Legal Services practice, where he excels at making complex, technical topics engaging and accessible for all audiences.
