About the course

The course will help ensure that chambers are able to meet the regulatory requirements of the Bar Standards Board (BSB). It will support chambers in being able to demonstrate their commitment to improved cyber security to instructing solicitors, who are increasingly seeking reassurance from chambers that they have strong processes in place and are able to ensure business continuity in the event of an attack.

The course consists of four modules:

  1. Understanding the impact of cyber crime.
  2. Recognising the types of cyber attacks.
  3. Defending against a cyber attack.
  4. Responding to a cyber incident.
