The Bar Council is seeking the profession’s comments on the organisation’s proposed budget for 2015-16 by way of an online survey.
The Bar Council's wellbeing survey is now closed and we are currently analysing the findings. We would like to thank all those members of the profession who participated in to this vital research. There was an overwhelming 2,456 responses, indicating the high levels of interest in this issue.
The Bar Council has welcomed the Ministry of Justice's revised plans for criminal advocacy including deferring implementation of any cuts in the Advocates Graduated Fee Scheme (AGFS) for at least a year.
