Following the success of last year's event, the Young Barristers' Committee will be holding its Annual Workshop, The 21st Century Advocate  on Saturday 9 June2018.

The Workshop lasts for half a day and is aimed primarily at barristers in their first seven years of practice (although pupils are also welcome). It is intended to equip Young Barristers with the skills that they need to survive and thrive at the Bar - now and in the future.

The Workshop includes a variety of sessions focusing on LawTech, Advocacy (tailored to Civil, Family and Crime), Wellbeing and Soft Skills, along with a keynote speech from a legal thought leader, and a panel discussion about the future of justice. It carries 3.5 CPD points for those on the New Practitioners' Programme, and can help to demonstrate that you are meeting the objectives in your CPD Plan if you are an Established Practitioner.

This year, we are also introducing LawTech Live - a variety of live 'demos' from companies with exciting products that can help to enhance barristers' profiles and improve their work efficiency.

There will be refreshments throughout the afternoon, and the Workshop is followed by drinks, nibbles and an opportunity to meet our speakers and sponsors.

This event carries 3.5 CPD and there is a charge to attend:
