BARCO Complaints Procedure

BARCO strives to offer excellent service and welcomes the opportunity to address any concerns and improve its service for the future.

BARCO has produced a guidance leaflet for the barristers' client which provides necessary information about using the service. Many of the key points are summarised below however the leaflet is available to download here.

As BARCO is subject to the regulation of the FCA, any complaint from a client or barrister (but not entity) that BARCO was unable to resolve amicably would be subject to the jurisdiction of the Financial Ombudsman Service ('FOS').

You are entitled to compensation for any unauthorised payments in the event that BARCO transfers funds after receiving notification from you in accordance with the agreement that you are withdrawing consent for the payment, or if the payment is not authorised in the manner prescribed in the agreement. 

BARCO maintains adequate insurance in the event that losses are suffered as a result of fraudulent activity or errors.
