Probationary tenancy vacancies

If you’re a pupil who hasn’t secured tenancy at the chambers in which you’ve completed your pupillage, you may be able to apply for a probationary tenancy (also known as a third six pupillage), or a fixed-term period of practise, at another set.

For prospective applicants

Section C1 of the Bar Qualification Manual states that probationary tenancies don't form part of the regulated period of pupillage.
